One day Becka excavated a trench along the side of the house.

She bagged the rubble and drove it to the tip.

Soon there were trenches everywhere in the sandstone bedrock. Occasionally we lost visitors into them.

At last Becka found the lowest point, beneath the gas, sewer and mains water pipe.

A low entrance was found at the bottom.

It required some digging. A number of treeroots that had taken the liberty of using this soil under the house were evicted.

We don't know what this tiny basement is for.

But it has a nice ceiling for a dungeon.
